Approximately 300 hours of our program are synchronous (live online), and our attendance policy is that students must be in attendance for a minimum 75% of these hours to pass, and 85% to pass with honors.

We will work with you to make the program accessible for those students who have full time jobs, who are parents, who are attending from an overseas location, or who need special consideration if they are differently-abled.  Please email [email protected] for special consideration.

Please note that:

- Yoga Alliance does not allow for transfer hours when completing your 300

- The transfer fee is $1 per transfer hour, limited to 25-225 hours

Yes. We are fully accredited as a Yoga Therapy Program by the International Association of Yoga Therapists.

Yes. In our YT Program, you will earn your 300hr Certification with Yoga Alliance concurrently.

Once you are accepted, skipping one module and taking it the following year is usually permitted, provided that you matriculate through the Essentials, Ayurveda, Functional Anatomy, and Healthcare courses in preparation for the second-year courses and practicum.

Yes. After completing approximately 500 hours of training (Including the module "Advanced Yoga Therapy"), you are ready to begin your practicum with oversight and work in clinical settings, and certified for clinical work at the completion of the program.

PYI has one partial scholarship based on need to offer for the 2023/24 school year. Work trade positions may also be available for those with administrative or marketing experience.

Yes. Students in the New York area may attend partial in-person hours at Pure Yoga.
